Unconference

Unconferences are like conferences (but are different in 3 ways):

attendees create the agenda (not organisers),
it's about discussions (not presentations),
attendees face each other (not the stage).

Unconferences often:

1. last a day or 2,
2. start by creating an agenda,
3. include parallel discussions that happen thoughout the event.

Sticky notes containing discussion topics are stuck to a large glass wall, and arranged into rooms and times on a grid.

I attend, organise and volunteer for unconferences big and small. I've done so for over a decade. Hence starting this post, book, whatever it becomes 🙂.
